• We stayed in a near by hotel and went a walk up the road to this local pub. We had two couples and three kids aged 3,4 and 7. At first it seemed like a nice place with a pleasent young lad serving behind the bar. Then after an hour 6pm 7pm the land lord turned up... From that point we where made to feel like we wasn't welcome. The kids was next to us being kids and not noises as I wouldn't let them. But they where being kids granted. He's asked them to shut up and then took away the toys and basically made us feel like rubbish. The pub wasn't busy at all I guess the landlord is to blame for that and a ramdom couple sat next to us said what was that about? We didn't know to be fair... The kids and the ladies left and we stayed to find out what it was about. Let me tell you not the most pleasent reply from the landlord and certainly not the land lady... The land lady being even worse... All I can say is the pub was dirty and run down just like the staff and owners. Best advise give this place a massive wide birth and if you have children it's like the child catcher from chitty chitty bang bang but twice as ugly and that's just the land lady.
