• Went there to-day for breakfast...what a bad decision that was! Arriving just after 10am there was just one other couple in the pub. When our breakfast eventually arrived we had to send both back as they were stone cold...I have never sent a meal back in my life before to-day! The place began to fill up and the complaints from customers started coming thick and fast. One couple waited 45 mins for two coffees, another couple asked to speak to the manager but were told he wasn't on site! I actually felt really sorry for another young couple when his breakfast arrived but his partner had to sit and watch him eat his for at least 15 mins before hers was brought. At one point I heard the kitchen call for service three times without any response until the head chef served the meals himself! One member of staff spent the whole time we were there on his mobile phone! None of the staff looked as though they wanted to be there and none appeared to have had any real training...there was absolutely no customer focus with the staff more interested in chatting to each other than looking after the customers. In a nutshell it was a complete shambles. That's such a shame as we were hoping the exceptionally poor service provided in the final weeks of the Scirebourne were well and truly in the past...how wrong could I be! We will not be back and I would be very surprised if ANY of to-day's customers return either!
