• we went there on Good Friday, booked the table but asked not to sit at the table by the door, our friends arrived first and when we arrived we were shocked that they were sitting at this very table, I asked the barman if we could change to another table and he said no, that he had not done the table planner, there were a few empty tables but he refused, think he should go on a customer relations course! We have been using the Red Lion for a few years now but it has changed. Would not recommend anyone to go there, we went to another restaurant after they refused to move us and had a lovely time and saved a lot of money. I would have thought that they wouldn't want to lose custom but they have in this case. My family friends and myself will never use this place again.
