• Fantastic food and atmosphere, had our xmas party there for over 25 of us and the food was served on time and to a high standard all staff very pleasant

• Hi john, im sorry to hear of your bad experience, but it has made me want to write about my own experience. i am a regular of the bird and i have to say i find all the staff their to be most helpful and very friendly, most of all simon, who always ensures we are well looked after! i come regulary to the resteraunt with my friend, and we are always made such a fuss of by simon and makes our night such an enjoyable one! food beautiful

• meal was lovely but having spent over £600 on a family meal we were literally kicked out at 11 0.clock inthe rain by simon the bar manager...however a few of locals were left sitting inside the bar with full drinks and wer not asked to leave ..also found him very rude ..

• Sorry got to disagree with Peter, found the barman very helpful, must have been having a bad day Peter.Food and service both very good.

• The Lanlord/Barman has to be the most grumpy, miserable person behind the bar.The best day to go is Tuesday when he's off.
