• Total C... Me my children and grandchildren have eaten at the Pig and Whistle lots of times and know it can be a bit of a hit / miss experience. This is my second attempt at home delivery (the first time was not good). To start .. food was cold, I got a big blob of strange tasting (sour) mashed potato that I didn't order, the roast potatoes were like they had be cooked and then reheated lots of times and the meat was more fat than meat. Chip shop style gravy with added lumps at no extra cost. £13.97 inc delivery and all went in the bin. NEVER I mean NEVER again

• I came up from London with my daughter and son in law and we ate 2 nights here it was such good value, and real home cooked food. Lovely ambiance too
