• had the fish pie tonight advertised on the menu as cod and prawn fish pie in a white wine sauce. When served not a single prawn in sight but lots of carrot pieces, peas and onions. When mentioned to bar staff was told after she spoke to chef that lady in question if she had wanted prawns in her fish pie she should have requested them, does this not contravene the trades description act?????

• This is a well established local pub and food house.Excellent choice of beers including occasional guest beers. The food is of a very good standard and reasonably priced.
