• Found a long hair in the batter disgusting. To top it off everything we bought was greasy as hell that it made my daughter sick, If we hadn't have been going home the next day I would have gone back to complain.

• Am I missing something with these reviews because we didn't rate these fish and chips at all. Our cod smelt of ammonia, the batter was still yellow and undercooked and the paper bag of chips we got were one big clump. We noticed if you asked for a medium cod you get a large but you pay for a medium but we won't be going back.

• Came away in May and had the crab from doggers plaice , had it three times over the two weeks also fish and chips three times. Been to Yarmouth for over fifty years best fish ever.

• Best ever fish and chips in the country been to many all over and Doggers is the best. Do not have fish and chips from anywhere now unless we are back home in Caister, it has become our treat when we get back from where ever we have been.

• Doggers place is the best fish and chip shop in Great Yarmouth .We have been coming here for over 5 years now , we visit Great yarmouth three times a year and we always use doggers place owned by an ex fisherman he really knows his stuff , from the service to the price and not forgetting the fish , the rock is highly recommended all in all the best chippy around

• Been coming to Yarmouth for years now and we always go to doggers place for our fish and chips 'this is the best chip shop by far you carn,t fault anything , from the service the price and the food the rock eel is just perfect, the owner spent years as a fisherman before opening a fish and chip shop , he really knows his stuff ' highly recommended to all
