• Since the end of January new landlords have taken over, they are a breath of fresh air and are very happy go lucky and the pub is returning to the good old days, they have entertainment on every other Saturday and now do bar meals on Fri Sat and Sunday that are excellent value, we had burger and chips on 1 visit and scampi and chips another both incredable vale at £3.75 and were very tasty. There is a very friendly atmoshpere and they make you feel welcome and the Oxford Gold real ale that we tried was the best pint of it I have ever had, so keep up the good work.

• We popped in on a Friday night, the locals were all very friendly and some had even brought their well behaved dogs with them. I have heard on the local grape vine that it may be changing hands soon so will see what the new tenants/owners do with this lovely pub
