• I recently ate here with a group of senior citizens that my friend runs a respite centre 4. The welcome was fantastic + the food superb - not like the usual "trough" food one is offered in a lot of pubs! The waitress who served us really did the owners proud she was so delightful + Mary (landlady) came round with a box of irish fudge 4 us + offered us all a piece at the end of our meals. I had a thai fishcake starter which was gorgeous + steak+ale pie 2 follow - the portions are very generous too! Overall a definite must 2 visit if u want 2 spoil urself in a beautiful old pub.
