• Awful, booked for my pregnant partner to have a facial and upper back massage. She turned up and was told they had cancelled the appointment they hadn't bothered calling. She rebooked and when she was eventually seen to, the person doing the massage told her she doesn't like pregnant women, how lovely.

• I booked me and my girlfriend in for a massage in early August. I was called by Xana that morning to tell us they would have to cancel the appointment as a girl had rung in with chicken pox. Im a very busy person and kept the day free in my calender but these things do happen i thought so i rescheduled for what was now the end of september (the next saturday i had free). I then received another call on that morning telling me a girl had rung in sick. This really annoyed me so i looked up their company reviews online. Turns out this isnt a new practice for Xana. They seem to regularly cancel peoples appointments last minute. They clearly employ alot of young girls who go out on the friday, get drunk and dont bother to come in. Very unproffesional. There are lots of massage places to choose from in the area so definately avoid this one rather than have your time wasted. Im not rebooked for the end of October.... fingers crossed!

• Absolutely disgusted! I had appointment booked at 9am on a Saturday morning, i made sure i was ready for my appointment in good time, so arrived at 8:50am. I was the told by the receptionist (who was less then helpful in trying to find a solution) that the girl who was carrying out my treatments had called in sick (no phone call to advise me of this, and no one else could fill in for her...). I then rebooked for the Saturday 2 weeks later, only to have the same thing happen again - yet this time, they didn't turn up to open until 9:20am, 20 minutes late. So this time i had to wait 20 minutes for the privileged of being let down! It's obviously run by a bunch of kids that can't be bothered to get out of bed because of hangovers on a Saturday morning. There's lots of places in Southend like this, i'd 100% pick one of them! So as not to waste your time and be disappointed.

• Massage was amazing however was unimpressed with the manicure, I could've painted my nails myself better, wasn't a very good standard. Massage and manicure bought as part of a package. Sept 2013
