• Have eaten here a number of times and always found it a welcoming establishment. We normally eat in the evenings. There is a varied and interesting menu and the quality is good.Last visit was 13th September 2012. We were not disappointed. Had a good meal at a reasonable price and all four of my party is happy to return in the future.

• Very, very pretentious, don�t bother to waste your money.Arriving at 12:00 midday we were asked if we had booked, the place was empty, and stayed empty until 13:00. The very young and uninterested girl took our drinks order, this arrived minus the coca-cola I had ordered, when I asked for the coke it was met with a shrug of shoulders and a tut.The food was something else, it was not difficult, seeing as the place was empty - two steak and gravy pies, one with potatoes and one with chips, and a chicken and mushroom pie with chips. Twenty minutes later two plates of pie were served, no chips or potatoes. Ten minutes later a bowl of chips and veg� were served , another ten minutes and the other bowl of chips were served - and so it went on. Until thirty minutes after the pie�s were serve we had a full complement of a meal.The actual meal was below average. The base of each pie was soggy.The waitress asked if we wanted anything else, I remarked better service. I made a complaint to the duty manager and walked out.Never, never again. I�ll stick to the Unicorn a short distance away.
