• Havent eaten at the Woolpack (we use the Italian restaurant next door) but the only real ale on offer recently (Adnams) wasn't good at all. Seems they only want diners...doing a great trade with money-off vouchers but not my kind of pub

• We eat here as often as funds allow. The food is always plentiful and very good. There is a special pensioners lunch on Mondays - slightly smaller portions - and the Sunday lunches are very good. You usually get a voucher for Sunday lunch when you eat there providing you pre-book, 2 carveries for £10, usually £8.95 each. Beef, Turkey or Pork is normally available, I often ask for some of 2 meats rather than sticking to one. Chef's great (looks like Tom Ellis!), the girls are lovely, they don't rush you. One criticism is the wine by glass is a bit pricey.
