• I,ve recently had lunch on a couple of occasions at this good looking country pub located on a small river between Ringwood and Christchurch and is now under new ownership.the food was excellent with generous portions and reasonable value.Service was efficient and friendly and with future development of the old menu provides an excellent location to eat and relax.i would recommend this to my mum which hopefully tells you everything.

• Rude staff large board with the menu on too big to be fresh food so must be microwave food toilets not clean worst pub I have been to on ages

• Very disappointing. Guinness was'nt great and food too expensive for the quality. Don't think the chef knows what medium-rare steak is and serving staff can't remember what the meal is when they bring it to you.Sorry i think there are far better places to eat within a very close proximity.

• We visited the woolpack to try to cheer my sister up after a bad week. Terrible idea!!! We used to get good service and great food but that has been replaced with rude staff and awful dining. The food took an age to arrive with no warning and no apologies. Then it was barely warm over cooked and the veg took a further 20-25 mins after a couple of reminders. Then it was plonked on the table by the waitress who said 'there ya go'. Still no apologies until prompted, then said rather insincerely. And when you ask for a refund the owner tells you never to come back and you hear him saying expletives to the staff about you! I will advising all my friends and colleagues never to set foot in the place. P.S. Salad does not need to be kept warm!!!!!!!
