• A very friendly, close pub with relaxed staff and lovely feel. Feel at home at first entry and chat away all night!

• Dec 14th 2011...Had the best ever welcome from a young staff...nothing too much trouble.I had a 10oz fillet steak which was absolute perfection and a desert of vanilla/strawberry home made cheesecake which was also excellent.We spoke at length to the chef who told us that he would not work with anything but fresh and locally sourced produce.10 out of 10 and WE will definitely recommend to others,as it was to us.Now on our list for quality and hospitality.

• We ate in this pub a few weeks back, service was slow and very poor, the staff has bad attitude and makes you feel very uncomfortable with in the environment , chef seems more interested in the staff than what he does pleasing the customers he is serving long waits between course are not a great impression! Would never recommend this pub to anybody !!

• Poor service, had to wait over an hour for first course. not very apologetic in fact a couldn't care less attitude from waiting staff, would not recommend at all! - ever......

• We booked a table for 19.00hrs and were shown to it and left for 15 mins before we got up to order a drink (they forgot we were there)! after the drink came we ordered a meal and the starter took just over the hour to arrive, and not too good at that there were bits missing from some dishes. we waited another 45 minutes for the next course (did get an apology for long wait)again some of the order was missing and there was no cutlery, and when it came it was dirty and had to be replaced, but we were so hungry for whatever we had been given that we ate it. we were given a complementary drink and told that the chef had had an accident. when we paid for the meal we mentioned that other diners had been given their food before us and came into the restaurant long after us. the attitude was couldn't care less about us. we shall not be using this "Pub" again
