• I have been using this hairdressers for 2 years now; very friendly staff who always cut my hair as requested. Sometimes a little more is cut off than I want but I find that this happens to me at every salon! The prices are great; my old Salon charged £25+ for a dry cut whilst I normally pay between £12 and £14 here. It's even become my boyfriend's choice of hairdressers!

• Having not been to a hairdressers in a long time, preferring box dyes because of the price, I decided to give wickhead a try after hearing such good things! I was absolutely over the moon, the hair colour was exactly what I wanted, I felt comfortable as all the stylists were friendly and they listened to what I wanted n I left there with the perfect style for me!

• I have just had the worst haircut ever here. I asked for an inch to be trimmed off the bottom of my waist-length hair, only to leave with hair that was a good 4-5 inches shorter. After the anger and tears had subsided a little, I returned to the shop to complain and was told that 'an inch means different things to different people' - I was obviously wrong for thinking it was a standard unit of measurement! Furthermore, the 'stylist' happily lied to my face and denied cutting off any more than an inch. I will never use this salon again and would not recommend it to anyone who actually likes their hair. Avoid and go somewhere, where the stylists don't need to be shown a tape measure to understand an inch!
