• Yesterday 11/09/2016, we had our grandsons Christening Party at The White Hart, it was a fabulous buffet, loads of hot + cold food. The staff + owners couldn't do enough for us. There wasn't much food left as everyone was filling their plates 2 or 3 times. They made a special day even more special. Beautiful Pub, amazing food, perfect staff. Thank you to The White Hart, x

• Popped in today at lunch time for a friends birthday Lunch,arrived unannounced but was served big plates of gorgeous food by polite staff...You have a little wait while food is sorted fresh but well worth the wait.. I recommend everybody give it a try, we will be back again X

• Good news, new owners. Great atmosphere, good food, good beer, good menu. These folks are really doing their best to make happy customers, give them a chance.

• We went after many recommendations to do so from friends and family, really glad we did. We had the most fabulous meal and the staff could not have been more helpful. Sad to see these lovely traditional village pubs struggling just to stay open but with meals like theirs (all homemade and cooked totally fresh to order) I can only hope they do! We had to wait a little while as they were busy but the front of house staff kept us updated and we didn't mind as where else would you get such fresh, quality food at the reasonable prices they charge? Going to try their Sunday Lunches next - yummy!

• We regularly visit the White Hart - home cooked food, freshly cooked, old fashioned pub surroundings, great value. We will be back again and again.

• read all the adverts etc,went there would never go again.has to be the worst service i have ever had anywhere pub was empty and still took 2 staff 1 hour to serve soup of the day then a further 2 hours for a very average steak and chips did not have a sweet it would have been bed time before we would have got it.perhaps the chef should concentrate on his cooking not playing on his laptop as was the case when you looked in the window of the kitchen. both on entering and on leaving
