• We had a very good meal here last night. We will be going back.The food was perfect and such good value.I had a lovely pie and my girlfriend had a perfectly cooked steak.Very impressed with chef

• West Norfolk is not the place to take the Mrs if you are looking for La Cuisine, but if you want a plate of good plain pub food then its well worth the trip, i had a mixed grill, my wife had deep fried cod chips and mushy peas and my grandson had a plain burger with salad and chips, all i can say was that the meat on my mixed grill was very tender cooked to perfection, the chap behind the bar always has a smile and the lady that waited on was very good, all in all good food.

• Worst meal ever in a pub! Pint of beer was 'off' owing to needing a change of barrel although replacement pint good. My Lamb Tagine was tasteless (although the 6 pieces of lamb tender), with a coloured gravy and a slice of apricot to represent the tagine accompanied with rice (no couscous) and green leaves, and also tepid. Husbands steak tough and gristley, but chips tasty and hot. This Pub was recommended but we certainly will not be visiting again to see if this visit was an 'off' evening.

• Lovely pub,great value food.My husband and I have been holidaying in Heacham for 15yrs and we have always eaten in the west norfolk,alone and with friends.I dont think you can bet the honest lovely food which is served(in very large portions).In todays financial climate they seem to have kept the prices very fair, without neglecting the quality.Would recommend 100%.

• Great food and very good service,never have we had such a lovely steak.Have been recommended many times by friends but this was our first time and we Will be returning.

• It was the worst meal i have ever had. I sent it back once as the fish was luke warm, 20mins later it came back warm and swimming in butter. I had the grilled haddick. My husband had the meat pie fortunately their was nothing wrong with that. We have been various times of the year, but not aon a regular basis. We were considering arrnaging sunday lunch for about 25 people, ther is no chance of this know. When complaining the waitress virtually there was nothing wrong with it.
