• My husband and I are on mission to try out all the local pubs and restaurants. The road leading up to the pub/restaurant is a bit on the bumpy side and not wide enough for two cars to pass each other. We arrived at 12:15 and were not sure if it was open as the only car in the car park was a maintenance van. Upon entering the pub it was warm and cosy. We were the only ones in there. The staff were very friendly. The food was prepared fresh. Not that microwave stuff. Homemade chips and homemade curry. We were very pleased and surprised at how large a portion we were served. We really enjoyed our food so much so that we are going back again soon. I would definitely recommend this pub to others but would have to warn them about the bumpy road surface to get there.
