• Never use this company, after the death of my father they informed the trustee and the crematorium (as entered into cremation form one) that they would inform the next of kin of his death and funeral, this has been confirmed by a police investigation. They made no effort to let the family know and we missed his funeral. Now they refuse to speak to family members and are dragging out probate I suspect to earn as much off the estate as they can. I was told they would write to me, I was told they would phone me, they haven't They even tried to involve the police claiming my contact was not wanted! As you can imagine they didn't get very far with that and made themselves laughing stock. If you have a will with this lot please move it to a decent firm, this lot will make life as difficult as possible for your family once you have gone.

• My mother was facing health challenges, and she appointed Wayman and Long as executors to handle her affairs. Unfortunately, they restricted access to her property, which led to neglect, despite its once beautiful state. Their billing of £39,094.65 for their services was concerning, and even after her passing in 2017, part of the estate remains with them. I initially shared a negative review in 2020, and they later demanded its removal, threatening legal action. Fortunately, our family received recognition from the SRA for the overcharge, but it took months to recover the funds, with an additional 4-month delay in payment.
