so disappointed on our first and last visit. Mashed potato was horrible tasted like powdered mash and it was cold, the peas and carrots were out of a tin. with all the local produce available fresh veg would have been nice. the pub was cold, lacked atmosphere and the welcome could be more warming and there was a horrible smell of stale cooking. I won't be recommending this place to anyone. shame this pub has so much potential.Nicest pub in the area with heart warming staff give my fsmily a joyful visit nd we will be back soon!Worst roast ever - tough beef could not eat - potoatoes not done - ran out of stuffing - staff vert brisk - don't go anywhere near
