• Pleasant pub. Food in the evenings is usually quite appalling. Dried up burgers, almost burnt coconut prawns, dry chips. Tonight 14th May a vast improvement. Actually enjoyed the meal. Unfortunately, my friends sweet was rock hard - inedible. Barman tried to tell me it was ment to be like that - for the custard to soak in! (Ha ha) Took it to the counter and it was returned to the 'chef' (cook) who sent a message to say that it had been in the microwave too long! My friend suggested a refund but it was not forthcoming. Be warned.
