• I prebooked an appointment 6 weeks in advance (for what was to be my first appointment at the salon) for a cut and colour for an evening invitation I was attending. On the morning of the appointment I got a call from the salon to say that I wouldn't be able to have the colour as I had not had a skin test for the colour!! This was not mentioned when I booked the appointment!! I was told I could still come in for a cut (as if??) and that I would have to rearrange if I wanted a colour!! I tried to say that I had loads of colours before but they refused to keep the appointment and the only excuse that I got from the so called Assistant Manager was a feeble apology that I should have been informed about the skin test before the appointment! Yes I should! I booked weeks in advance!!
