• I took my bike for a service, after a few minutes on riding the bike, I noticed that the bike sounded very much different than before. I took my bike to my father who is a mechanic. We found the following problems: Pipe for air filter box, not attached at all. This is what the unusual sound was. This pipe was connected to a valve, which itself wasn't seated in it's correct place. After this we decided to check the other work. We found that the spark plugs were not new (which I was charged for) and not even tightened properly! We found that the main tank bolt was very loose! We also found that on the brake caliper, the bleed nipple rubber cover was not fitted. On the whole this is not only unprofessional but downright theft, considering I was charged for two new spark plugs. Not only did we have to fix problems, we had to spend the time on checking all the work that was supposedly carried out. It did not take us half of the time to get at the engine than was charged for. The service including MOT cost more than £400. They offered some free further work as compensation, but I would not want them anywhere near my bike.
