• I regret to say that my experience with Touchstone Lofts and Paul has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. From the very beginning, I encountered numerous issues that have left me with a negative impression of this company and its owner.One of the first red flags was their refusal to accept credit card payments due to Section 75 protection, they only want BACS or cash. While I understand their concern, this policy made it extremely inconvenient for me as a customer. It limited my payment options and forced me to find alternative ways to pay for their services. Additionally, the communication from Touchstone Lofts and Paul was abysmal throughout the entire process. Emails and phone calls were constantly ignored or left unanswered for days, and in most cases weeks. This lack of communication caused unnecessary delays and left me feeling in the dark about the progress of the work.What truly exacerbated my frustration was the unprofessional and rude behaviour displayed by Paul. During our interactions, he consistently displayed a lack of respect and consideration towards me as a customer. His dismissive attitude and condescending tone made it clear that he had no interest in providing satisfactory customer service. Furthermore, the work carried out by Touchstone Lofts was of very low quality, and in places, dangerous. The safety measures implemented during the construction were severely lacking, putting both the workers and me at risk. Numerous minor accidents occurred on the site due to negligence, which is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, I was bombarded with constant solicitations from Touchstone Lofts even after the eventual completion of the project. It felt as if I was being hounded for more business, rather than being treated as a customer who had already endured a terrible experience. Overall, my encounter with Touchstone Lofts and, in particular Paul, was a just awful to say the least. Their refusal to accept credit card payments, coupled with their poor communication, rude demeanor, dangerous work practices, and relentless solicitations, have left me utterly dissatisfied. I strongly advise others to steer clear from this company if they value professionalism, quality work, and customer support.

• Paul Johal cannot tell the truth if his life depended on it. Like J. H, our project has been delayed by 18 months and in that time all Paul has done is put the price up and blames Brexit. He has no idea what he's doing. He over promises and delivers nothing.  I don't care about leaving this review even though on his "contract" it says "by using social media and providing the project managers name, you agree pay him £5000 in compensation". As far as I am concerned you have already taken £7000 deposit from me and delivered absolutely nothing, apart from additional stress and anxiety. Paul has refused to refund me. My neighbour says I should report him and his company to Trading Standards, and I may well do that if he doesn't start my project soon.

• I thought it only moral to mention that I was originally offered payment by Paul from Touchstone Lofts to leave a five star review on his Google Review page. I did leave a review because I needed the money, but Paul never sent me any payment for it as he promised. I guess there are other students, like myself, who fell for his scam. Annoyed.

• I had a disappointing experience with Touchstone Lofts. The communication throughout the project was subpar, with frequent delays and missed deadlines. The initial design they presented lacked creativity and didn't align with my vision. Unfortunately, the workmanship was also below par, with shoddy construction and poor finishing. I encountered several issues during the process, and the customer service was unresponsive and unhelpful. Overall, the whole project felt like a rushed job, and I'm left with an unsatisfactory loft conversion. I wouldn't recommend Touchstone Lofts to others based on my experience.

• I recently availed services from Touchstone Lofts, and regrettably, my experience was significantly unsatisfactory on many fronts.I'd like to start by expressing my discontent with their payment procedures. The director, Paul, insisted on cash payments or direct payments to their tradespeople. Such practices seemed quite unconventional and introduced several complexities. The most bothersome issue was that after making these direct payments, he claimed those transactions never occurred and attempted to charge me again, leading to an ordeal of confusion and frustration.Additionally, Paul's response to the dispute was threatening with legal action and involving debt recovery services. It was rather alarming and created an unnecessarily hostile environment that exacerbated the already stressful circumstances.Regrettably, the workmanship left much to be desired. We experienced numerous delays throughout the project, with an unpredictable schedule as they would randomly turn up on unconfirmed days.Moreover, the administration aspect was noticeably lacking. There was a blatant disregard for the concept of customer focus, which made the experience even more challenging. Organizational skills were gravely lacking, and this reflected negatively on the delivery of the service.In conclusion, my experiences with Touchstone Lofts were overwhelmingly negative due to their unprofessional behaviour, irregular work schedule, and subpar craftsmanship. The customer experience was far from satisfactory, and I urge potential clients to carefully consider these aspects before deciding to engage with this company.
