• Went for a meal at the carvery (Malton Rd), ---- thoroughly spoilt by "someone" who made the decision to re-use Mashed and roast potatoes. The mashed potatoes were cool and dry, to the point of being crumbly! The roast potatoes were cool and dehydrated with a skin like leather. The warm gravy was thin and tasteless. I've been to the carvery quite a few times in the past, next time I go I'll be looking for a big improvement. I don't want to risk taking visitors their, if thats the new standard.
