  • 5 star reviewI WAS ON A HEN NIGHT AND THIS PUB WAS ON ROUTE, I ADMIT I WAS A BIT WARY BECAUSE OF SOME OF THE THINGS I HAD HEARD BUT WAS VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED.THE HEN DIDNT KNOW THE LANDLORD OR LANDLADY BUT AS SOON AS THEY SAW SHE WAS ON HER HEN NIGHT THEY PRESENTED HER WITH A BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE AND GAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT OVER THE DISCO TANNOY WISHING HER ALL THE BEST FOR HER FUTURE MARRIAGE, WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME, WE WERE ALL DANCING ON THE TABLES AND SINGING IT WAS REALLY A LOVELY ATMOSPHERE AND ACCORDING TO CUSTOMERS WHO GO THERE REGULAR THIS IS THE NORM. WE HAD TO MEET OTHER FRIENDS IN TOWN AND REALLY DIDNT WANT TO LEAVE, WE LEFT EVENTUALLY RATHER LATER THAN PLANNED. I HAVE RETURNED HERRE ON NUMEROUS OCCASSIONS NOW, BOTH WITH FRIENDS AND MY HUSBAND. BRILLIANT PUB!!!
