• George, the chef, is a master with food. Not 'home cooked' (beware that term on menus) but Real Food made on the premises and all delicious. Chicken Pie and Steak an Ale pie to die for. Fresh, vegetables. Good range of other savoury dishes and a lovely range of desserts including proper puddings with custard. Plenty for those with a hearty appetite but they also do 'pensioners specials'. Thanks for a wonderful food experience on a number of occasions. We and our friends will be back.
