• I went into Tesco yesterday and asked Sean who was filling up the cheeses where a couple of items were stocked which I needed to buy. He appeared so miserable and disinterested,and told me which aisle to go to. I felt uneasy with his manner but thought maybe he had a bad day. However, I went in today for a few items and saw him again filling up the cheese counter. I walked up to him with a smile and said "Hi, it's your favourite customer again" He looked at me expressionless and waited for me to speak. I said "sorry I don't shop here very often" and was about to say "so, can you please tell me where the chicken stock pots are" when he walked off to put his empty boxes on the pallet. He then shouted across "did you want something", needless to say I replied "no thanks, forget it". I asked another young man where I could find soya/quorn mince and he said "we don't sell it". I said, "I think you do, because everybody sells quorn mince" easy to just say, "we don't sell it" I suppose.
