• I bought a kilo of fresh mussels from the fish counter, asked when they had come into the store, to be told this morning, so presumed they would be alive. No luck, half of them dead, so short rations tonight. Very disappointing

• I shopped in Tesco at Hexham today and was very irritated the way coffee and tea were advertised for £3. £3 displayed in big bold letters. On the same stand Nescafe Gold Blend was on display with the price not well displayed at all. It happened to be £4. I stopped a passing manager and asked him why the display was so misleading and I felt very fobbed off, his manner not very helpful. Keep the £3 items on their own stand, it is not helpful to put £4 beside them and not display the price clearly.
