• I never used ted carter fishing tackle for online orders before . But placed an order on sunday 5th january for a new drennam series 7 carp reel and received it today january 7th . From start to finish from confirmation order email and parcel tracking of order to the new reel itself am very happy with all aspects of my order with you . Will have no problems recommending you to others .and hope to use you again myself soon. Congratulations to you all at ted carter fishing tackle

• What absolute rubbish by the previous reviewer. I've never felt so welcome in my life. My first time in Teds for years on Saturday and I felt like one of the regulars with the help that I got. Top shop imo!

• I used to thoroughly enjoy my visits to ted carters. However, that was when dear old Eric was alive and working there. He would make you a coffee and have you testing the rods in the car park opposite. I lost times of the amount of flies Eric tied me when he knew I was fishing a certain beat. He embodied fly fishing. Unfortunately the sae cannot be said of the current staff. I have just spent 20mins in there waiting or someone to acknowledge me. They seemed completely disinterested in my custom. This is a shame as i went in there for a new 5wt river rod, line and for all equipment the novice fly tyer would need. I had a budget of £500. I didn't feel the need to spend it here. I shall not return
