• Should be re named ‘Tattershall Bike Centre’........ This track has a great layout, however: 1. They are more interested in the bikes and not karts (probably different if you hire theirs). Karts get 15 minute sessions and bikes get 30 minutes. If I was told this was going to be the case I would never have gone. 2. Staff are very rude and condescending. They tell karters to slow down in the pit lane and then let the bikers fly around in the paddock as they please, it’s absolute chaos. 3. H&S is horrendous, of all the tracks I’ve been too I’ve never seen so many bad accidents. And as there are no marshal’s at all on track (as the two people there very rarely ventured out onto track) it was every man for themselves almost. There was a guy lying on the track and the staff didn’t bring a blanket or first aid kit over and were very against an ambulance being called (obviously a RIDDOR issue). One girl looked like she broke her arm in yet another crash, staff just wanted the kart off the track so the bikes could go out. Even though until that particular crash karts has been out 4 minutes, when we challenged the staff we were told that’s just unlucky and it took a few of us to get them to let us finish the session. (Which might I add, they did under duress) So after paying £30 per kart and £10 per additional driver we got six 15 minute sessions. What a joke!! All in all, could be a great kart track, but I don’t think as it’s run at the minute it ever will be!!!
