• Whilst taking my parents out for the afternoon ( Pre mothers day) We decided to stop off for some late lunch, this proved to be really difficult as we were continually told " Sorry our kitchen closes as 3pm" Then by chance we came across The Swan inn, we were met by a young man ( he was quite busy in the bar ) We were told " yes sir the kitchen is open ( it was by now about 4pm) We sat down in a very quiet restaurant ???? ordered our food which consisted of 2 x scampi chips and salad, and 2x lamb pie, The portions arrived a perfect size, and both were cooked fresh and were beautiful !!!! The young man behind the bar was extremely friendly and helpful and a credit to the licensee,This pub is definately worth a stop off for anyone travelling through this scenic route, and I would def make a point of stopping off again !!!!!
