• There are lot of Chinese restuarants near Oxford. The Swan inn in Islip was recommended by one my friends. It changed a new ownerdhip above a few months ago. I live in Headingdon ,Oxford.It is very easy to drive to Islip. In ordet to celerbrate the birthday for my son,my framily and some friends tried the Swan inn last Friday.It was very good food and service was excellent. The value for your mony is the best in Oxford areas.

• Ate there for the first time since it was taken over last Saturday night.I have lived in the village all my life and decided it was time to try the food at The Swan Inn as I had heard they had a Tapas menu.Will never eat there again........Table clothes had stains on from a function the night before, wine stains, crumbs, rubbish wrappers. I had to take it off my self.As for the food........ appalling.Tapas was tasteless and some dishes dry. We also had dessert. Again appalling. We had cr�me brulee which was watery and clear when you lifted the hard shell off the top and the apple crumble which was burnt and the custard looked like gone off milk.We still had to pay full price..... I won't be going back nor will I be recommending it!
