• My husband and i ordered 2 meals, i had sirloin steak very well done that came with mushrooms and onion rings. When the meal came it was floating in blood, it was returned and when it came back it was still pink n floating in fat. Returned again and i realised this meal should have come with mushrooms and onion rings. Told the waitress and waited a good 10 minutes for them a d still no mushrooms, by this time id lost my appetite. Very disappointed and waste of money,

• went for christmas day lunch 2010 food amazing went christmas day lunch 2011 food was rubbish veg was not cooked could not cut it to eat it prawn cocktail 6 little prawns what a let down for my family on my way in a lady said you will be lucky if you it your food so think before you go on christmas

• We took my parents to this pub yesterday and had one of the worst eating experiences ever. I'm only giving it one star because the review process won't accept zero stars. My husbands' meal was inedible and we were given a refund. My dad's steak was tough and chewy. It may be reasonablt priced but the quality of the food is shocking.

• we tried the stonehouse pub and restraunt after hearing through friends about the mouthwatering food at fantastic prices. we always return to the stonehouse on, mothersday, fathersday, easter, and on our family birthdays. the great staff and atmosphere is second to none, very welcoming, and family friendly. we especially love the barbecue spare ribs served on a sizzle platter, very impressive. i also find that alot of concideration has gone into the childrens menu. offering healty options aswell as smaller version of adult meals. and that the childrens dessert menue also includes an ice lolly! a perfect little treat for little ones. we have since told all of our friends about the stone house pub and restraunt, and they always come back to us with great rievews of meals we have yet to try. we will be there again tomorrow, (FATHERSDAY) with the whole family, 13 in total. before visiting tredegar park, wich is just over the roundabout from the stonehouse. id be suprised if anyone cud not find meals at the stonehouse that didnt suit them, or their purse strings.
