• Hoping to enjoy Sunday lunch, with a view to bringing our friends later on in the month. The service was appauling the staff were hanging around chatting instead of dealing with the customers. Food was really good, but the wait was alot to be desired. We asked for the desert menu and 20 mins later it still hadn't arrived, so that left us no choice but to pay the bill and leave. My biggest grievance was the children in the pub they were running around and around screaming and shouting, we felt as though we were in the middle of the local school playground instead of a lovely pub hoping to enjoy a nice lunch and drink. I would suggest to you to employ more staff and to monitor the conduct of the children by asking their parents to take more control of their behavour.
