• Terrible service, bought a pair of running trainers from this store for £70, took them home and tried them out on a short run, unfortunately the trainers felt painful around the side so boxed them up. I live 20 miles away from this store so I rang them up and spoke to a staff member called Antonio,I explained that I had bought them, and found they didn't fit properly, they were within the 30 days return policy, I explained that they had been ran in for a short distance and was a little dirty, to which he assured me this would be fine to exchange and to come in, I reiterated that the shoes had been worn and would this be ok to exchange for sure, to which he replied a definitive yes. So, 20 miles later I am in the store and guess what, " sorry, we can't except shoes that have been worn", are you kidding me !!!! So I explained to the manager what was said to me on the phone, so he went to speak to Antonio, who was no where to be seen, and instead of him coming down to see me himself, he twisted the words of a customer to toggle off the hook, to which the manager told me his story and advised he cannot take them, so I'm left angry, with trainers that don't fit properly, and £70 out of pocket ! The situation was dealt with unprofessionally, by staff that don't know the first thing about customer service or sports equipment for that matter due to them all being school age. The store didn't even have a foot measure ! The management need to be reviewed and not even an apology from Antonio or a face to face to talk. People beware of the guidance and advise that the staff there give you, I would advise you go to a different retailer, or if you decide to buy from sports direct, do not use the Andover branch. Terrible
