• Whoever is posting these ridiculous reviews really needs to get a life. The Soap Shop has been a very popular business for 5 years, with hundreds of satisfied customers. The business has expanded and is now moving location, and selling to other businesses only. Who ever is writing these reviews has a serious case of jealousy. They are not true. The soap shop closed down and was selling off the last of its stock, hence why it looked empty. There are posters everywhere telling you the new location. I suspect you are an inferior business person looking to tarnish the reputation of a fabulous business that has grown massively over the last 5 years.

• I could smell this shop as soon as I wandered through the main door of the Olde Watermill. A sweet smell, but not too bad. The shop however was a big disappointment. In the centre of the shop was an island with a few forlorn looking bars of soap on it, probably only about five or six types to choose from and only a few of each. The rest of the island, which could have been cleaned, was covered with small lumps and flakes of soap. It was very offputting. On another shelf was a small selection of what looked like piped bath melts or bath bombs. Most were flaking or broken. The majority of the window display was taken up with shower scrunchies. There really wasn't a lot on offer at all and what there was didn't tempt me to buy at all.

• Lovely looking little shop. Shame about staff superiority complex and the fact she answered questions about the products partly by denigrating other soapmakers' products and ingredients. I went ahead and purchased a soap slice and a cupcake bathbomb anyway, but when used neither were anything out of the ordinary. I've used better handmade bath products and received better service in other handmade soap shops.
