• Totally dishonest. Tried to sell a vehicle with altered mileage to my wife. The numbers were wonky on the mileage counter, it showed 120k, from wear on the interior true mileage I would guess to be around 250k+ miles. These people sell cars day in day out, they would clearly have known the mileage was not accurate, they were just waiting for a naive individual to come and buy it. These guys were expecting just my wife to come and view, they were very disinterested in us when they saw someone with a good working knowledge of cars had come along too. Also they washed the engine bay just prior to my arrival to hide an oil leak (car was sitting in a puddle when I got there), which I found anyway. The boss was very unhelpful to us and clearly knew the state of the vehicle. Had these people been honest I would not have wasted a 200mile round trip, £50 on fuel and a whole day. Very, very disappointing, I should have gone to trading standards.
