• Absolutely gorgeous I have had many Chinese takeaways in my travels and this has to be the best does cost a bit but I assure you it is well worth it the chicken rolls and black pepper sauce are absolutely devine best chinese ever.

• Waited for an hour and twenty mins for barely luke warm food which wasn't even that great. Will not be using The Slowboat again, ever.

• Just made the mistake of ordering from slow boat . The ribs were terrible and were thrown away, the main course was not what we ordered but after waiting for 90min before it arrived thought we would press on with what turned up. It was as dire as it looked and almost the whole £25.00 order ended up in the bin. Avoid this dump like the plague.

• Terrible delivery service 1 hour 40 mins to arrive cold and congealed when eventually arrived then when I complained after being told delivery would be less than an hour!!!! they asked for food to be sent back before they would refund!!" Company policy "then i waited another 2 hrs to get delivery driver to pick up my congealed mess to be able toto get a refund on the shambolic meal they sent its now 9.30 in a sat night and still waiting to be fed !!!!! Terrible service and terrible communication with bad management !! Never again

• Decided to give a try. Very poor. Chef obviously not trained in Chinese cooking. No finesse big chunks of flavourless mush. Best get an M&S Chinese box.

• Just had our first Slowboat takeaway. Very disappointed. No fresh veg in the spring rolls. Ribs like old boots and too big, one nibble and chucked them. Mains - no flavour no seasoning, veg very large pieces, no finesse, Where was the egg in the 'egg fried rice'?
