• Silverdoor were very helpful at the start of my enquiry with a quick response. After I made payment for my apartment - not very helpfull. Simple requests were brushed off and staff only seem to want clients money, when you have a problem they are only open 9 to 5! Our company will be going elsewhere next time.

• Having used Silverdoor serviced apartments recently, i would recommend to avoid them at all cost!!!!! Not trustworthy. Trying to evict you before the end of your stay despite the fact that you have paid all rent IN ADVANCE. We have been staying for 8 months in one of the King's Cross apartments and had booked via Silverdoor. Silverdoor always asked us to pay several months of rent in advance to secure the booking. We had paid to extend our stay for 3 more months until 1st of September and they suddenly sent an email early July giving us 14 days to vacate the property despite the fact that we had already paid until 1st of September. They claim this is a decision that was made by the property manager, that they are only the agent and that there is nothing they can do. Not sure if they want us out because we have a baby or what. Am not sure it is even legal to evict tenants who have paid their rent in advance. There are no terms and conditions on their website, nor is there any contract for the rental of these serviced apartments. We have a written confirmation until 1st or September and needless to say that nowhere is it stated hat they have a 14 day eviction policy at their discretion. Am not sure i can even trust them to refund the £5000 of rent paid in advance. Or compensate for the costs and inconvenience of moving with a new born baby with such a short notice. Do yourself a favour and do not use them!!

• We booked an apartment suitable for 2 couples and a single adult (ie 3 bedroom) at Ascot Apartments, Mayfair, London through Silverdoor Apartments. Silverdoor were reluctant to accept credit card payment, and heavily persuaded me to pay by bank transfer, removing any security offered by my credit card. When we arrived at Ascot Apartments and it was completely unsuitable for our needs. At that moment we complained to Silverdoor, who said they would get back to us and we are still waiting (3 months later); although Ascot tried their best to accommodate us even though the error was entirely with the booking agent, Silverdoor not them. They also stated that there was a single apartment meeting our requirements in their building even though Silverdoor had guaranteed there was. We had to pay an additional £800, before we could even unpack our bags, and had nowhere else to go at the last minute so therefore no choice but to stay. We have tried to communicate many times since then and they seem to have vanished into thin air.
