• Went for a farewell drink for a colleague from Marlow Youth football club there today (Sunday) and quite shocked by the rudeness of the landlady. Empty when we arrived and had spent several hundred pounds by the time the bar suddenly filled with young drinkers at 11.30pm. Despite no signs landlady said we had to clear pub for private party. 20 minutes later we were threatened with being barred unless we left immediately. When we complained she sent several young men to threaten us. Not somewhere to go for more than a quick drink. Threatening and unpleasant. Marlow Donkey and other views far more accommodating.
