• Girls in bar polite,smiley and helpful, food grim and expensive for such poor quality, four out of six of us were very disappointed, stay away from chicken burger, consisted of a cold dry balm and cold chicken, Brie dish tasteless, chips were good though. Would we return. No. 1star rating is being generous.

• Midweek food was mediocre not as good as it was on our last visit. Service polite. Nice setting by the canal. They kept the lights switched off in the dark lounge area a sign of money problems we think

• Don't go ,stay away i know that i will.Its rubbish .40p charge on credit card , cola based drinks not coke and food served only if the face fits.This is the worst pub i have ever been to and i'm 45/It only gets one star cos it won't let me put none
