• Horrible customer service. Booked an appointment. Planned my day around said appointment. Turned up and because they clearly didn't write it down. Was told they don't remember and could I come back later! Inconsiderate and incompetent is the impression I was left with by the small Asian woman I dealt with. Clearly if an appointment was booked, it's because I'm not available another time. As stated WHEN THE APPOINTMENT WAS BOOKED!

• Do not go to Shimmers for a Spray Tan! It was the first time that I was having a spray than when I visited Shimmers. When I went in, the shop was far too hot, and I was unaware that having a spray tan whilst hot is a recipe for disaster! However, the tanning therapist would have known this, and yet proceeded. Immediately after the tan was applied, it was streaking. This being my first spray tan, I trusted the Beautician when she said that the streaks would come off when I washed the tan off in the morning, however they didn't. The tan looked awful in the morning! My legs were streaky and far too dark, despite me asking for a subtle glow. My arms were covered in very noticeable patches. When I went back to Shimmers that day, the Beauty Therapist that applied the tan pleaded ignorant and pretended that she didn’t understand what I was saying. Despite speaking perfect English the day before, the therapist then pretended that she couldn’t understand what I was talking about. I will never go back to this Salon, and would definitely not recommend it to anyone!
