"This is a friendly and welcoming pub with the best English food sourced direct from local farmers.We have great English beers and ciders and an atmosphere that all the family will love.You may join us for a great value weekday lunch,the perfect Sunday roast,afternoon tea by the fire or a leisurely Saturday breakfast with the papers."

• We eat there last Sunday, a very warm welcome was given, staff very good and food very good, we will be returning very soon. Nice to see young people being employed as well. Our friends really enjoyed the lunch as well. Thankyou.

• Went for my 50th birthday ,table booked for 7.30pm,sat down 8.15.Starter very good .Rest of night worst service ever ,uncooked food ,cold cooked food ,wrong food.Did not start to get main meal until 9.45.One good thing was told not to pay bill. But must say a big thank you the deputy manager Sherinne Merry for the help.

• This was one of the worst restaurants I ever ate in - we were given shockingly small portion sizes - and I'm not a massive eater!! It was overpriced pretentious and the management need proper training on customer service - a potentially lovely lunch with 3 adults and 1 2 year old cost over £70 and we were not drinking! They didn't honour their kids meal deal - and charged my 2 year old son almost £15 for his tiny sausage and mash meal with ice cream desert .... An experience I will choose to forget rather than repeat!

• This is an excellent Gastro Pub serving great food. The decor is modern and welcoming with a cosy bar area to relax with afternoon tea. Thoroughly recommend it
