• Awful place. I went there last Sunday afternoon with my husband, after we went for a drive to look for a nice village pub. We didn't find that at the Selsey Arms. In fact, the landlord was the rudest man I've ever met. When we went in we were glared at instead of greeted, and when I asked if the pub offered cashbask, the snappy reply I received was "not for strangers we don't". Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, I bought some drinks, but the terrible service continued when the landlord threw my debit card back at me, instead of passing it, after I paid. In addition the surfaces were all sticky, the glasses weren't clean and the toilets were filthy. If I could give a minus rating, I would. Definitely one to miss, especially if you're not a "local person".
