• Ignore Bob Beamer's review. "He" posted a suspiciously similar review on the same day under the name "Fiona from Dundee" on a different website. This is an excellent chipper which family has enjoyed for years – better than anything on offer in Dundee or the Ferry.

• Not good. The food is cooked by 5.30pm and left stacked all night. Even when you ask for something to be cooked fresh, you are refused. Poor quality chipper, but unfortunately, no competition in Monifieth so he gets away with it.
