• Visited the resturant 23/05/2013. Had read pervious reviews which where not good. Our experience was completely different.resturant was very clean,staff very friendly and efficient. Food was unbelieveable extremely tastey. Compliments to the chef and staff five star.

• A party of four(2 local and 2 from Lancashire) really enjoyed our meal at Sandys.Three superb seafood starters followed by four excellent mains(2 seafood and 2 meat dishes).Atmosphere great not cheap but would have no hesitation in returning again.

• Nice little place inside and full of promise. Comfortable, great pint and good atmosphere :-) Unseasoned vegetables (?!) Dry kangaroo steak, bitter burnt wild mushroom sauce. Thinnest(1cm) lamb steak ever that looked like curled dry pork, only that it tasted of lamb. We were quite hungry so we never sent them back! HOWEVER saw some cracking fish & chips come out! Received well too it seemed. Plus a couple of good looking deserts. Return...yeah of course, am having that fish & chips, everyone deserves a bad day :-) But last chance. If poor, ain't payin next time!!

• Went in mid June for a meal on Sunday evening (booked the night before on the basis of the very appealing looking seafood menu). Service was ok - Sandy herself friendly, her assistant was not terribly switched on and asked us the same questions twice. The seafood was absolutely dreadful. Total dissapointment. Astronomical prices for asda price food in my opinion. The fish had no flavour, the steaks were supposedly local 21 day matured - grissly and fatty, both overcooked. Salad was cheap florette stuff past its best, no flavour again. Oh Dear. Sorry Sandy - take a leaf out of Alex from mojo's book.

• The only place we could find in Rhosneigr where we could have a coffee and sit outside with the dogs. Outside tables and chairs were rusty and rickety. Had tea & cakes advertised on board outside but told me that cake wasn't available because the kitchen was shut (around 3.30pm). No prices visible for tea/coffee. Tea was a teabag in a small cup. For this and a coffee they charged £4.70 (in March). We will not be returning.
