• Always lovely fresh fish in crispy light batter. Chips usually v. good too

• Sammys fish and chip shop is the best in Fort William area, (actually at Caol) because the batter on the fish is light and crispy. If by the odd chance you find the batter is heavy, dark, slimy and smooth, like the majority of fish served by fish and chop shop today, they must have been having an off day.
