• Highly over rated.Had this place recommended,and travelled miles to get there,food was average at best,very very disappointed,Sammys wife was very offside/rude when we asked to pay by card,..Demanded we go down the road to the cash machine.Horrific night would rather have stayed at home that night and boiled my head..

• HAVING READ THE REVIEWS AND THIS RESTAURANT WAS RECOMMENDED WE DECIDED TO GIVE IT A TRY,IT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING,FROM THE START,WE TOOK OUR OWN DRINKS,I ASKED FOR A STRAIGHT GLASS,AND WAS BROUGHT THE SAME WINE GLASS THAT WAS ON THE TABLE, WE WERE KEPT WAITING FOR AGES BEFORE THE WAITER CAME TO TAKE OUR ORDER,I NOTICED TWO COUPLES WHO CAME IN AFTER US HAD ALREADY BEEN SERVED,NORMALLY THEY ARE ROUND YOU LIKE FLIES TO GET YOU IN AND OUT,AFTER ORDERING AGAIN QUITE A WAIT,THEY THEN BROUGHT OUR MAIN MEAL COMPLETELY FORGETTING THE STARTER,THE OWNER THEN BROUGHT MY STARTER,FISH,WHICH WAS VERY HARD DOWN BOTH SIDES AND LOOKED AND TASTED VERY FATTY/OILY,THE PRAWNS IN MY MAIN WERE VERY SMALL AND HARD,THE SIZE OF MY NAIL ON MY SMALL FINGER,THE NAAN WAS VERY STICKY,THE RICE PORTION WAS VERY SMALL,OVER ALL NOT IMPRESSED,ALTHOUGH THE PLACE WAS VERY BUSY AS WE LEFT SO IT MUST BE POPULAR.

• I have been visiting this restaurant on a regular basis for over 20 years now and the quality is always superb. Sammy has recently opened the new, downstairs area and this is top class. I have yet to find a curry house that can beat Sammy's.

• one of the best curry houses in west yorkshire. friendly staff quality food cooked just how it should be and in my opinion the best garic naan bread around.
