• You can't make an omelette without breaking eggs. Why slate the store when they are doing their best to give us a store that's fresh and modern. All through the works I've been able to obtain all my usual fresh produce and quality products that sainsbury is famous for. The car park is now back to normal and normal high standard resumed. Thank you sainsbury York

• I always shop at the Foss Island store. At the moment they are undergoing refurbishment. I travelled to the store in my car this morning to find that the top half of the car park was blocked off as it was being resurfaced. Part of the lower part of the car park is being used for storage. What a nightmare!! people are just driving around and parking anywhere waiting to find parking spaces. Every space was filled at lunchtime today. There are a few guys meant to be directing traffic as the small section of car park where the recycling banks are is apparently one way only, the guy was just standing around not taking much notice of anything, when we drove past him he started waving his baton thing, we stopped and he told us we had to reverse and go the other way. I understand that there will be some disruption while this work is going on, but I think they should have either shut the store for a few days so the car parks could be done at the same time. I also feel that people should not be allowed to park there to go into town, they should all go and get a ticket from the store to prove they are only shopping there or at Go Outdoors. Needless to say I could not do my shopping as I could not find anywhere to park.
